David Rosenberg, MD

David Rosenberg

Doctor David Rosenberg was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. He graduated from the prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Rosenberg received a B.S. Degree from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He then attended New York University Medical Center-Bellevue Hospital obtaining a diploma in Respiratory Therapy. Dr. Rosenberg earned his M.D. Degree at the American University of the Caribbean in the British West Indies.

He completed a Pediatric Residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. He was selected as the Chief Resident in Pediatrics and received the Northwest Ohio outstanding Pediatric Resident Award. Dr. Rosenberg did a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology/Critical Care at the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for children at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr Rosenberg has been practicing Pediatric Pulmonology in Tampa since 1990. He is a former Vice President of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. He is the medical Director of Pediatric Pulmonology at St. Joseph’s Children’s hospital since 1990.

He served as Associate Director for the Pediatric ICU St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital from1990 through 1999. Dr. Rosenberg teaches Medical students from University of South Florida School of Medicine, Nova Southeastern School of Osteopathic Medicine and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Rosenberg is a board certified Pediatric Pulmonologist who has been selected as “Best Pediatric Pulmonologist in America” by the Consumer Research Council. Dr. Rosenberg is happily married and has three children.

John Michael Prpich II, MD

John Michael Prpich II

Dr. Prpich was born at St Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Staying local, he grew up in Brandon, attending Nativity Catholic School and Jesuit High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. Dr Prpich continued with the Jesuit theme, receiving his medical degree from Loyola University, Chicago. He returned to Florida to do a residency in general pediatrics, including a year as chief resident, at the University of Florida, Jacksonville.

Following this, he completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the University of Colorado in Denver with 2 years as a research associate at National Jewish. He returned home to Tampa and joined Pediatric Pulmonary Specialists in 2008. Dr. Prpich is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology. He has presented internationally and lectured extensively on topics as diverse as asthma, interstitial lung disease, viral associated lung disease, developmental disorders of the lung, and pediatric sleep disorders. He is married with three wonderful children, Noah, Jacob and Ella. Dr. Prpich is excited to be back home and providing care to the children in his home town.
